By placing an order through this website, you agree to the terms below. These conditions are intended to ensure a clear understanding of our service and to protect both parties in the transaction.
1. General
All orders are subject to stock availability. While we strive to keep our inventory accurate, there may occasionally be discrepancies. If any item in your order is out of stock, we will fulfill the available items and contact you to choose between a refund for the out-of-stock item or waiting for restock.
2. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated during checkout based on weight, dimensions, and destination. These charges are collected at the time of purchase and represent the final cost to the customer.
3. Returns
3.1 Returns Due to Change of Mind
My Hardware Store accepts returns for change of mind if the request is made within 30 days of receiving the item. The item must be unused, in its original packaging, and in resellable condition. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs and arrangements. Once we receive and approve the return, a store credit will be issued for the value of the returned goods. Shipping charges are non-refundable.
3.2 Warranty Returns
We honor valid warranty claims submitted within 90 days of receiving your item. Return shipping must be prepaid by the customer. Upon approval of a warranty claim, we will reimburse return shipping costs. Warranty claims are processed within 7 business days after receiving the item. Approved claims will be resolved by offering one of the following:
- A refund to your original payment method
- A store credit
- A replacement item (subject to availability)
4. Delivery Terms
4.1 Domestic Transit Time
- Economy Shipping (Free): 5–8 business days
- Standard Shipping (£15): 3–4 business days
- Handling time: 1–3 business days
4.2 International Shipping
My Hardware Store currently does not offer international shipping.
4.3 Dispatch Times
Orders are dispatched within 2 business days of payment. Our warehouse operates Monday to Friday, excluding national holidays. We aim to minimize delays during holiday periods.
4.4 Change of Delivery Address
Delivery addresses may be updated at any point before dispatch. Please contact us promptly with any changes.
4.5 P.O. Box Shipping
We ship to P.O. boxes via standard postal services only. Courier delivery is not available for these addresses.
4.6 Military Address Shipping
We can ship to military addresses using postal services (e.g., USPS). Courier services are not supported.
4.7 Out-of-Stock Items
In-stock items will ship immediately. Backordered items will ship once restocked.
4.8 Delayed Deliveries
If your order exceeds the expected delivery time, please contact us so we can investigate with the courier.
5. Tracking Notifications
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a tracking link to monitor your delivery in real-time, using information provided by the carrier.
6. Damaged Parcels in Transit
If your parcel arrives damaged:
- If possible, reject the parcel and contact us immediately.
- If the delivery was accepted while you were away, please reach out to our customer service team for further instructions.
7. Duties & Taxes
7.1 Sales Tax
Sales tax is included in all product prices shown on our website.
7.2 Import Duties & Taxes
My Hardware Store does not currently ship internationally. If international shipping becomes available, duties and taxes will be the responsibility of the recipient. Refusal to pay duties will result in the package being returned at the customer's expense. A refund will be issued for the product value only, excluding both original and return shipping costs.
8. Cancellations
You may cancel your order before dispatch by contacting us. If your order has already shipped, please refer to our Returns Policy.
9. Insurance
All parcels are insured for loss and damage up to the value declared by the courier.
9.1 Damaged in Transit
We will issue a refund or replacement after the courier’s investigation confirms the damage.
9.2 Lost in Transit
A refund or replacement will be issued once the courier has confirmed the parcel is lost.
