Return & Refund policy

At My Hardware Store, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you’re not, we offer a 30-day return policy, giving you 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return.

Eligibility for Returns

To qualify for a return:

  • Items must be in the same condition as received — unworn, unused, with original tags, and in their original packaging.
  • A valid receipt or proof of purchase is required.

How to Start a Return

To initiate a return, please contact us at contact@myhardwarestore.co.uk. Once your return is approved, we will send you:

  • A return shipping label
  • Instructions on how and where to send the item

Important: Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon arrival. If your item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us immediately so we can resolve the issue promptly.

Exceptions – Non-Returnable Items

Certain items are not eligible for return, including:

  • Perishable goods (e.g., food, flowers, plants)
  • Custom or personalized items
  • Personal care products (e.g., beauty or hygiene items)
  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases

We also do not accept returns on:

  • Sale or clearance items
  • Gift cards

Exchanges

If you need a different item, the quickest way is to return the original item. Once your return is accepted, place a new order for the replacement.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we’ll notify you about the status of your refund. If approved, the refund will be automatically issued to your original payment method. Please allow a few business days for your bank or credit card provider to process the refund.
